Is Updating Of The Weekly Rom Supported At All By The Updater App?

Hello,
i'm really wondering if the updating of the weekly ROM (from a previous version of the weekly ROM) supported by the Updater app ("Choose update package" way) at all, because it doesn't work: after i do it, the ROM remains on the previous version. The only effect of the process is, the downloaded recovery ZIP is deleted from the file system. I tested it on several versions time to time.

I just don't get how people here update their phones week by week.. noone noticed it? Everyone else...

Hi Friends,

First post on xiaomi.eu ! Though have been using the xiaomi.eu roms for long time but only today was able to get registration.

I am looking for one help, excuse me if its noob question. Which is the apk file which contains VoLTE icon - the one seen in status bar when we enable VoLTE in SIM cards & mobile networks?

I checked ims.apk but it contains HD icon only. Also checked teleservice.apk but couldn't find anything relevant.

Contacts App Crash When Search

Big problem with contacts app on any latests xiaomi.eu builds (6.1.29, 7.1.5, 7.1.19)
when try to search contact in contacts app, after 3 letters app crash
Locale - Russian
Trying clear app cache - no result
Contacts at Google account
Try to unlink any other accounts (Mi, Whatsapp, Telegram etc) - no result

CAN ANYONE HELP, I RECENTLY BOYGHT (2 WEEKS AGO) REDMI PRO WHEN I OPEN CAMERA A SOUND NOISE FROM EARPHONE AND THE SECOND CAMERA AT THE REAR DOES NOT WORKING, SAME THING WITH VIDEO AND CAN HEAR IT TO RECORDED VIDEO.
MY ROM IS MIUI 8.1 STABLE 8.1.2.0(MHQCNDI).
DOES ANYONE HELP PLEASE IS A HARDWARE OR A SOFTWARE ISSUE??

I was trying to get english menus on my MiTV2 (Model number: L55M2-AA). I had succeded initially, but after I restarted the TV, I can no longer see any menus. I only see an "Android System Recovery <3e>" menu, with options to Reboot System Now, Apply update from ADB, Wipe data/Factory Reset, etc.

I have browsed through some of the forums and I am able to start the TV in recovery mode. But I am not able to find the stock firmware to download into my USB stick.

If anyone has the stock...

Welcome!

Now i order Xiaomi Mi Tv Box 3 Enhanced Mdz-18 from DealExtreme ( EU ).

1. This unit is came with latest firmware?
2. Latest firmware is able to root?
3. If able OTA is still working after root?
4. If anything goes wrong with base android os i always recover the original from recovery?
5. If root needed to play services or replace launcher i able to unroot after process for working OTA?
6. The EU DX send me a Chinese version of unit?

Hello!
On the latest rom calendar displays burthdays more then once. Not on the same day, it shows birthdays from the same persons twice time, the second time on a other date. Also my birthday, so i have my normaly birthday in december and the second time on march where i have no birthday. Its strange
Do anyone have the same problem?

I read that the Redmi pro supported the OTG function, but I did tests with 2 micro-usb adapters for Type-C and 2 OTG cables, and no device was recognized. Is Redmi Pro really supported for OTG?

I've recently bought a Xiaomi Mi5 (Which is currently on its way) and I suspect that it will come with a non-optimal ROM. Therefore, I'm interested in changing it to a wonderful Xiaomi eu ROM.

Hello,

I bought recently the redmi note 3. After only 20 days suddenly no network anymore without a specially reason. I installed twrp 3 and changed ROM to the Miui global 7.1.8.0 Stable but now the sim card is not detected. I took out manytimes and insert this sim card. But no effect.

Here the product i bought :

Dear all,

I´m looking for your help, bcs I have absolutely no idea how to go on...
At the moment I´m using my Mi4S with Ver7.4 (6.4.28), and so far I´m quite happy with it.

But I´d like to try the actual version miui 8 / android 7.
I think I have a locked bootloader, or at least I didn´t aks for some unlock code or sth like this.

How can I do the upgrade to the actual version? It would be great if someone could post a link to a tutorial or something like this.
