Making system partition RW

Does anyone know how to mount the /system partition as RW while booted into system on shennong? (currently on latest twrp and 24.1.29DEV firmware)

The integrated option in twrp fails, as the partition format is not supported. The RO2RW module causes a softbrick. Tried to use DFS as prerequisite, but it doesn't work aswell.

Any ideas? I would really want to customize the boot animation and do some other tweaks, but of course this is not possible rn.

In the past few weeks, we decided to revise our policy regarding integrating translations to our ROMs.

Why?​

Most of Xiaomi's apps already have their translations. This means that in certain cases, older strings from your repository replace Xiaomi translations. As a result, the translations on our ROMs are not always up to date and may lack context.

Soooooooo, Got new 14 ultra, phone is amazing etc BUT i cannot use any 3rd launcher with gestures? Wtf is this? Is there any work around or what? Is this HyperOS limitation or Xiaomi just doesn't want us to use any other launchers rather then theirs?

You pay for flagship phone ( and some premium apps ) just not to be able to use them?

Differences between Global Base and China Base in EU Rom

Hello, I saw this topic in several places but I couldn't find a clear explanation. I will install EU Rom for Poco X3 Pro. And from what I see, Global Base EU ROM is offered for X3 Pro. I know what Global Base and China Base are, but I don't know about the differences between these two versions in EU Rom. What are the differences between these two versions? The features I want in general:

1- Xiaomi's own calling and messaging app

2- MIUI Launcher (I hate Poco Launcher.)

I'm trying to unlock my Xiaomi 12 bootloader, but when I try to log in to the Xiaomi Unlock Tool, it required me to enter a verification code that's supposed to be sent via text messages to my linked US phone number. The verification code never came. I tried a few other numbers and none worked. Did you guys need to receive the text message to verify your account when using the Unlock Tool? If yes, did you use a Chinese phone number or something else? I tried 4 different US numbers and none...

On the latest update 1.0.50.0.UNBCNXM I noticed my text will now send as sms/MMS and no longer rcs like before. It was working fine before the update. Reinstalled the Google messages app, allowed every permission, checked to make sure RCS was enabled. Still nothing worked. Is anyone encountering a similar issue?

Cannot pass strong integrity because of XiaomiEU Injector?

I have a valid keybox to work with Tricky Store. It can pass strong integrity on stock rom. However, it never passes on xiaomi.eu roms even though XiaomiEU injector is uninstalled for current user (still exist in system but cannot be totally removed).

Is it possible to get rid of the injector from the ROM by default? Also the injector could be flawed that props modification is detected. Some apps wouldn't work for tampered environment although device integrity is spoofed to be present.

You can install internet download manager. Without it, i get 2-7mbps download. With it, i get 30 (whole bandwith). This is possible because it uses multiple servers (8 in my case) instead of 1

Hi. Just wanted to ask these questions...

1. I enrolled in the HyperOS beta testing programme. My phone is used in the EU with an EU rom. Since I currently have the EU rom, can I install the global beta version once it becomes available?

2. If I change from the EU to the global rom, will this impact any apps? In another thread I read that this can impact your banking apps...

Would appreciate if someone could help...

Process system isn't responding hyperOS

Dear Community:

After each reboot, the system prompts Process system isn't responding. See the picture below, as it shows what I'm talking about.

I wiped all the data on my phone and flashed the ROM using fastboot. The system has got root access, and I used the Apatch rooting method.

Redme Note 11S HyperOS and TWRP

I have a unlocked Redme Note 11s 4G and didn't get the OTA HyperOS Update. So I installed TWRP on MIUI 14 und manually updated to HyperOS. Worked fine so far.
After the Update TWRP was gone and I tried to reinstall it following this guide which worked on MIUI 14: https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomi_pocom4pro_redminote11s.html
Flashing TWRP is no problem, but after reinstalling the boot.img (frome HyperOS) to both slots und flashing TWRP permanently it's not possible to reboot HyperOS and...

Recently NFC payments stopped working on my Nuwa. I tried both apk fixes but still no luck.
I followed all latest advice from forum with reinstalling updates, apps and so on, but still facing errors with checking integrity.

Hello all,

Since 15 days ago I have several of my Chinese devices (i lived in China for some years) as "offline" in my mihome app. However they are still perfectly connected to my WiFi.

I live in Europe and all has been working fine for 5+ years. Devices affected are my S2 roborock vacuum cleaner, my WiFi sockets, my Xiaomi gateway hubs.
Strangely my newer S5 roborock vacuum cleaner is still OK.

I tried removing and adding them in the app but even after connecting to the WiFi, not...

Xiaomi 13 ultra CN with global ROM and locked bootloader

Hi everyone, I recently bought the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, but it turns out that it is the Chinese version with a global ROM, however the bootloader is blocked, and when trying to update manually I realized that the Miui version of the phone does not correspond to the official one, since the official one is TMAMIXM, while the one with the cell phone is TNAMIXM, as you can see it has an N instead of M in the second letter, does anyone here know what can be done? Hi, i have the same problemn with my mi13 is from china but comes whit miui 14 global, i use a remplace method to update to hyperos but im stuck on 1.0.4.0 no receive any update and cant install manually , my question is exist some way to install the original china rom or some rom withoud problems with bank apps etc. Android auto... ? I need help with that :3

Edit: the bootloader say unlocked but its not unlocked because i cant see the lock icon when i start...
