Parental control and dual apps

My son is 14, and unfortunately - like many - exposed to problems of addictions to screens.
As a parent I need to help him develop healthier habits, sometime with carrot sometime with stick.
Parental control screen time feature are one of the tools I should have available to do so. Unfortunately xiaomi has builtin few "privacy features" which help any young teen bypassing parental control, namely dual apps and second space.
Is there a way to block/remove these features completely?

Since Xiaomi made the official unlocking much harder, it has been nearly impossible for users to unlock bootloader by official method. So I searched the internet and found some methods on Kuan which is the Chinese equivalent of XDA forum.

Here are my answers:

For Xiaomi products that are not sold with hyperOS originally, you can use method on github to unlock the bootloader.

As you are aware, new Stable releases (including rebuilds that are currently in the works) do not include our fix for passing SafetyNet/Play Integrity checks. There's the guide how to flash Magisk and relevant fix on these ROMs.

NOTE: You have to repeat the process (at least installing Magisk) after EVERY ROM UPDATE!

Sadly it's all on Chinese, but most of it is self-explanatory, and of course you can use Google lens. [POCO F6 Pro] Optimised charging function and limited charging to 80% doesn't work

Hi everybody,

I have Android 14 on HyperOS by xiaomi.eu, version stable.

Like in tittle, optimised charging, stopping charging and limit charging level to 80% doesn't work. It charging constantly to 100% and because of this i got 3 cycles of charge in last night. In previusly smartphones, POCO F2 Pro on Lineage OS 21 and Mi Mix 2 on Lineage OS 21 charging stops at reaching 80% and everything works fine.

Why Xiaomi.eu broke this important function ?

Someone have this bug? Maybe this...

Has anyone gotten the 6Ghz wifi band to work with a Wifi 6e router? I have a Wifi 6e router from my ISP and it has 2Ghz, 5Ghz, & 6Ghz. Xiaomi claims to have up to Wifi 7 but I only see the 2G and 5G option on the phone. My PC wireless/Bluetooth can connect to the 6G band on my Wifi 6e router, so idk why the phone doesn't find the 6G.

I have the CN version but I will be getting the xiaomi.eu rom soon. I'm guessing 6G shows up on specific regions like it mentions? So I'm wondering if we have...

I'm on MIUI 14 on my Poco F3 (14.0.7.0 for alioth), but since version 14.0.6.0 about a couple months ago my haptics response is going weird for some unknown reason. After some hours of phone resting, the vibration for almost all apps, keyboard and so on goes mad, very intense (cannot explain, but something not natural as in use for almost 2 years since I bought it). Hi everybody. I recently bought xiaomi redmi note 11 pro and unfortunately realized that there is a problem with the video recording sound. In every video I shoot, there is too much noise. Any idea? Can I fix it ? It really sounds bad. Thanks in advance
