Mi Note 2 8.4.12 Issues

Hi! I don't know which one of these things are "features" or bugs, but i hope somebody can help to fix my problems:

Facebook Messenger can't find my Sleep as Android alarms. When i want to mute a conversation until an alarm, it can't show my next alarm. Sleep as Android got the autostart permisson, battery optimization is off.

I can't find/open the menu to change the phone's region. Search can find it, but i can't open it.

When my headphone is plugged, incoming calls/alarms are turned on...

Eu Rom Is Slow And Does Not Have Location History

I installed the rom yesterday, looks good however the rom is slow and at times does hang, more over it does not come with gapps

and once you get everything working, location history is still missing, any way to fix this issues..

Miui 9.6 - Dev Rom 8.4.26 - Led Notification Issue

Hi,
I have a Xiaomi Mi 5s with xiaomi.eu developer rom. Till ver 8.4.12 all led notifications were working perfectly (led notification has always been working fine since ever).
Yesterday, I updated to dev rom 8.4.26 and suddenly all kind of led notifications do not work.
I know led works because when I charge my smartphone the led is turned on automatically and this is the only time the led appears to function.
  • Missed phone calls, no led notification
  • SMS message, no led...

Notification Shade Like Stock?

I'm thinking to buy MI Mix 2. Can anyone tell me is on latest dev or stable rom, notification shade like they have been introduced on YouTube presentation for new Miui 9 ?

If it's still not implemented, is there some way to make it more like stock expandable without using two fingers, maybe on xiaomi.eu dev Rom ?

Currently I'm using Mate 10 Pro, but I need to sell it. On Mate expandable notifications works without problem

Hi I have faced a really strange issue in the latest MIUI (7.8.17, 7.8.24). When I was trying to edit video I wanted to add some effects on it. But all of the effects were marked as they needs to be downloaded. When I am trying to download them, I'm getting error "Can't connect to server". Any solution for now? On MIUI 8 7.7.20 it was working absolutely fine, there were no need to download any resources, they were already present

i already have the last working TWRP 3.2.1, and also i have the oreo android version, today with the OTA updates i tryed to instal the last update for mi mi mix, and all goes on the TWRP install the update without problems and than the phone restart, when i am on the MIX black update sceen it's going on for some minutes as usual, but at the...

Hello,

are you able to charge your Mix 2 with Quick Charge?
The last dev roms and the actual 9.5.5.0 stable rom have problems for me with QC. Only after rebooting the phone is charging with QC.

Hi,

I recently bought my Mi Mix 2s from CECT-Shop and it should arrive within the next 10 days.
Unfortunately it comes with English/China ROM without Play Store installed and I want to install EU ROM from xiaomi.eu.

I already acquired permission to unlock my device and downloaded the MI Unlock Tool.
As soon as I get my device I will unlock it with that tool.

But how do I flash the EU Rom then? I only had Nexus Devices from Google before and since Pixel Devices are way to expensive imo I...

Hi,

since one of the last MIUI updates, the themes app disappeared, and I cannot find the option to select/download new themes.

I found a themes option in the definitions menu, but I can only select from the already downloaded ones, not to download more.

Can you help?

Hi, I have a RMN4 GLOBAL (Snapdragon) 4/64 with a 64 GB microSD Samsung Evo + uhs3, the phone recognizes it perfectly but it does not stop to continuously show the notification to eject it and it's annoying me.

Anyone knows how to deactivate the messaging?

I have the last weekly of Xiaomi.eu, rooted and with TWRP.[​IMG]

Root With Ota

Hi,

I got my phone unlocked for a while and update the weekly beta roms from here with TWP. Yet as my dad (which uses the mix2 with EU rom also) wants to merge his old WhatsApp chat database from the iPhone on the MIX2 I need to have root to be able to decrypt this database.

And here It's a bit unclear for me as I couldn't find the right topic on this one. Will OTA work (Xiaomi.eu) and which root method should I use? I need root for just this matter and prefer to remove root access...

Mix2 Screenshot Scroll

Hi.
On my mind mix2 8.4.26 and previous version I have problem with screenshot scroll. Looks like take just regular screenshot scrolling down but not recording and take only screenshot of bottom page.
I can't upload video but on pic is full screen of
MIUI Weekly ROM Releases.
Well.. this is interesting to. After copy/paste font just changed.
Any idea with what happened?
