Having had various Xiaomi phones in the past from early 2s, and messing with roms etc I was given a Google Pixel 7a as work phone and stuck with it. Yesterday I found an old Mi8 in the draw and my wife suggested I gift it to my daughter to chat with her young friends. So I wiped it....duh. Now it's asking me to activate the device. I cannot.
