Does anyone else keep getting the pop-up warning from (supposedly) Google on their Xiaomi phone (Redmi in my case) saying:
“Google recommends that you immediately uninstall this app: MtkCamera It contains code that attempts to bypass Android\’s security protections.”
Did a web-search but can’t find any more information, see attachment for screenshot of message.
Is this a scare tactic from Google or is there a genuine reason to follow the advice?
